North Park

Canyon Lake, Texas

North Park is a small, primitive campground on the south end of Canyon Lake. This site is often used by scuba divers who want to explore the clean, clear waters at the southern end of the lake near the dam.

The park is open on weekends only, from Friday at 3 pm to Sunday at 2 pm, during the months of April
through September (hours extended during federal holiday weekends.) There are about 20 tent
campsites, which have no electric access. A bathroom is available, but it does not include a shower.

The rocky North Park beach has no designated swimming area or boat ramp. Still, the water is popular for Scuba, and there are basic amenities available. When you’re not on or in the water, hike the North Park trail to Overlook Park.
